Mahasthamaprapta Bodhisattva Copper Keychain Pendant for Keys and Bags
$23.59
This compact keychain carries a cast Mahasthamaprapta Bodhisattva figure with visible facial, headdress, and robe detail. The figure measures 38 x 23 x 4.2 mm and hangs from a 100 mm attachment, so it sits flat in a pocket and clips onto a key ring, a tote handle, or a bag zip.
Figure & Material
The pendant is listed in copper and brass with a warm metal tone. The small figure includes: the face, the headdress, and the folds of the robe are all picked out in relief across a piece only a few millimetres thick. The whole keychain weighs 22 g.
Design Context: The Bodhisattva
Mahasthamaprapta Bodhisattva is a figure in Buddhist tradition, often paired with Amitabha Buddha and Avalokitesvara. Here the figure appears as a small cast decorative piece, with the facial and robe detail the focus rather than any claim about the object itself.
Everyday Carry
The 38 x 23 x 4.2 mm figure and 100 mm attachment keep the keychain compact for a pocket, key ring, tote handle, or bag zip. Hang it on a key ring, a tote handle, a bag zip, or an inner hook, where it can be kept close to the item it is attached to. It also works as a small gift.
Care
Keep the keychain dry. Wipe it with a soft dry cloth after handling, and keep it away from perfume, lotion, and chlorinated water, which can discolour the metal surface. Because it is carried against keys, expect light surface marks over time from normal use, and store it separately when it is not on a bag.
