This mini prayer flag string runs ten small rectangular flocking-fabric panels along a short cord, each printed in one of the traditional flag colors — blue, white, red, green, and yellow — with a Tibetan mantra syllable, its transliteration beneath, and knot-style corner borders. At 0.85m total, the Tibetan Windhorse Om Mani Padme Hum Prayer Flag String is sized for a car display, a shelf, or a quiet corner of a room, and it arrives ready to hang.
Cultural Symbolism & Artistic Design
Om Mani Padme Hum: the six-syllable mantra is one of the most widely known recitations in Tibetan Buddhism, traditionally associated with compassion and focus. Here each flag carries one syllable in Tibetan script, with the sound printed below in Latin letters.
Windhorse (lungta): the windhorse is a central motif on many Tibetan flag sets, usually shown carrying a jewel. In Tibetan tradition, flag sets are hung outdoors so the wind moves through the printed panels; this mini string follows that design language in a compact form.

Why You'll Love This Flag String
- Recognizable design: the five-color sequence and Tibetan script make the panels read clearly as traditional prayer flags rather than generic bunting.
- Compact display: each flag is 11.3cm*8.3cm and the whole string is 0.85m, small enough for a car mirror line or a desk without dominating the space.
- Ready to hang: the flags arrive strung on the cord, so you only need to tie off the two ends.
Care Instructions
- Keep the panels dry; dust them gently with a soft, dry cloth.
- Avoid prolonged rain and direct harsh sun; take outdoor displays down in severe weather.
- Store flat or loosely rolled, away from anything that could crease the printed fabric.
Frequently Asked Questions
Where can I hang this flag string?
The 0.85m string suits small spaces: across a car interior, along a headboard, on a shelf edge, or by a window. The lightweight flocking fabric panels need no heavy fixing — a tie at each end is enough.
Is it suitable for outdoor use?
It can be displayed outdoors for a time, but the flocking fabric is not weatherproof. For lasting color, keep it under cover and take it down in rain or prolonged strong sun.
What exactly is printed on the flags?
Each panel carries one syllable of the six-syllable mantra Om Mani Padme Hum in Tibetan script, with the transliterated sound printed below, framed by knot-style corner motifs in the traditional flag colors.
How many flags are on the string?
Ten flags, each measuring 11.3cm*8.3cm, on a total string length of 0.85m. The set weighs 22g.
