This Halloween Backflow Incense Burner stacks three glossy orange jack-o'-lantern pumpkins, each grinning with a carved black face and finished with green leaf accents, and tops the tower with a wide-eyed black ghost. The incense cone rests on the ghost's head, and as it burns, cool smoke sinks through the body and pours from the ghost's mouth down through every pumpkin face, pooling around the base like fog. It makes a playful seasonal display on a mantel, entryway table, or party buffet.
Backflow Smoke Effect
The burner works with backflow incense cones: the cone sits at the top, and because the cool smoke is heavier than air, it flows down through internal channels and cascades out of the carved mouths instead of rising. The waterfall reads best on a stable surface away from drafts, and each cone burns for about 10 minutes, so the effect is quick to enjoy and quick to reset.
Pumpkin Stack Design
The three pumpkins step down in size from a broad, deep-grinned base to a smaller carved lantern at the top, with molded leaf and vine details between them. The black ghost topper with its painted white eyes gives the piece its spooky character even when the smoke is off.

Why You'll Love This Burner
- A decoration that performs: the smoke waterfall through the carved grins turns a shelf piece into a live table effect during October gatherings.
- At home in autumn decor: the pumpkin-and-ghost stack suits mantels, haunted-house tables, and fall-themed shelves well beyond the single holiday night.
- Buy it ready or your own way: choose the burner alone if you already have backflow cones, or add a 50-cone pack in a random scent mix or straight sandalwood.
Care Instructions
- Set the burner on a stable, level, heat-safe surface; the 389.5g resin body is sturdy but can still be knocked over.
- Once cool, wipe away ash and soot with a dry, soft cloth; do not soak the resin or run it under water.
- Keep the smoke channels clear of cone residue so the backflow keeps pouring through the carved faces.
- Store dry and out of direct sun for long periods to keep the painted orange and black tones from fading.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is incense included with the burner?
It depends on the option you choose: the listing sells the burner alone, or with a pack of 50 backflow cones in either a random mix of scents or sandalwood. If you already own backflow cones, the burner-only option works right away.
Can I use regular incense sticks or cones?
No — the waterfall effect needs backflow cones, which have a hole at the base that lets smoke travel down through the burner. The cones supplied with the pack measure 0.39*0.98 inches (1*2.5cm) and burn for about 10 minutes each; ordinary sticks will simply smoke upward like in a normal holder.
What will it smell like, and can I pick a scent?
The sandalwood pack gives you one consistent woody scent. The random-mix pack draws from ten scents listed for this product — Sandalwood, Lily, Carnation, Osmanthus, Mint, Lavender, Cape Jasmine, Rose, Ocean, Wormwood — so you get variety rather than a single chosen fragrance.
How much shelf or table space does it need?
The piece measures 10.4*10.2*17.6cm — roughly a 10 cm square footprint standing 17.6 cm tall — and weighs 389.5g, so it holds its own on a mantel, side table, or entryway console without taking over the surface.
Why does the smoke sometimes drift sideways instead of pouring down?
Backflow smoke is light and easily disturbed. Drafts from windows, fans, or air conditioning will scatter it, and a cone that has gone out can block the channel. Move the burner to still air, clear any spent cone material, and relight — the cascade through the carved faces should resume.
