The Winged Dragon Ceramic Backflow Incense Burner is a sculptural incense holder featuring a matte, taupe-brown winged dragon with carved scale detail coiled around a glossy dark ceramic vessel. A backflow incense cone sits at the top near the dragon's folded wings, and the cooled smoke pours down from the dragon's mouth into a small cup and onward into the round base, creating a cascading waterfall effect. A rest at the base also holds a stick incense. The dragon is a longstanding motif in decorative art, and here it anchors a piece made for desks, tea tables, and meditation corners.

Why You'll Love This Burner
- The backflow design turns burning a cone into a visual event: smoke spills from the dragon's mouth and pools in the basin like a miniature waterfall.
- The contrast between the matte carved dragon and the glossy dark vessel gives the piece strong presence even when it is not lit.
- Choose the burner alone, or pair it with a 50-cone pack in either a random mix of ten scents or sandalwood, each cone burning for about ten minutes.
- A distinctive gift for incense enthusiasts and lovers of mythical-creature decor.
Care Instructions
- Wipe the ceramic with a soft, dry cloth and keep it away from prolonged moisture and harsh chemicals.
- Let used cones and ash cool completely before emptying the basin.
- Never leave burning incense unattended; place the burner on a stable, level surface away from drafts and flammable items.
- Store in a dry place when not in use.
Frequently Asked Questions
What incense does this burner use?
It is made for backflow incense cones placed at the top; the cone size is 0.39*0.98 inches (1*2.5cm) with a burn time of about 10 minutes. A rest at the base also fits a stick incense. Incense is sold either separately or bundled as a 50-cone pack.
Which cone pack should I choose — random mix or sandalwood?
Both packs contain 50 cones. The random mix lets you sample ten scents (Sandalwood, Lily, Carnation, Osmanthus, Mint, Lavender, Cape Jasmine, Rose, Ocean, Wormwood), while the sandalwood pack repeats one classic woody scent.
How does the smoke waterfall actually work?
Backflow cones burn downward and release cooled smoke that is heavier than air. The internal channel guides it from the cone at the top out through the dragon's mouth, so it cascades into the cup and settles in the basin.
How big is it, and is it heavy enough to feel solid?
The piece measures 12*7*16cm and weighs 385.5g, which gives it a substantial, grounded feel on a desk or tea table. Allow for slight deviation due to manual measurement.
Will mine look exactly like the photo?
Because the burner is handmade from natural ceramic materials, small irregularities in glaze and carving are normal, and colors may vary slightly from the picture due to lighting and screen display.
