This Resin Cat on Lotus Base Figurine shows a plump cream kitten with closed, content eyes sitting on a soft pink lotus and holding up a slim metal fishing rod, from which a small gold fish charm dangles on a fine line. At about the size of a palm, it brings a playful, zen-like accent to a desk, shelf, or windowsill.
Cultural Symbolism & Artistic Design
Lotus base: Rising clean from muddy water to bloom on the surface, the lotus is traditionally regarded in Buddhist and South Asian traditions as a symbol of purity and quiet emergence. Here the open pink petals form a seat for the cat, borrowing that serene imagery in a lighthearted, decorative way.

Why You'll Love This Figurine
- The meditating-cat-on-a-lotus pose is instantly readable and funny, so it stands out as a conversation piece without needing a label.
- At roughly 7.5 cm wide and 180 g, it stays put on a keyboard-side desk corner, bookshelf, or entry table without taking up room.
- A natural gift for cat lovers, desk-setup enthusiasts, and anyone who likes whimsical zen decor.
Care Instructions
- Dust with a soft, dry cloth; avoid water and harsh cleaners on the painted resin surface.
- Keep the figurine away from prolonged moisture and direct heat, which can soften paint and warp the resin over time.
- Handle the thin metal rod and line gently, and avoid pushing on them so the fish charm keeps its shape.
- Store or display in a dry spot out of high-traffic areas where the rod could be snagged.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is the wooden board in the photo part of the product?
No. The package includes 1 × the cat figurine decor itself; any board or styling surface shown is just for display.
How big is it in real life?
It measures approximately 2.95 × 2.95 × 1.89 in (7.5 × 7.5 × 4.8 cm) and weighs about 180 g, so it is palm-sized and stable enough for a desk or shelf.
Does the fish charm move?
The small gold fish hangs from a fine metal line off the rod, so it dangles lightly the way a real catch would. Because the rod and line are slim, treat them as delicate details rather than something to fiddle with.
Will each figurine look exactly the same?
Close, but not identical. Each piece is hand-finished, so slight variations in color, shape, and size are normal and make every figurine unique.
How should I clean it?
Wipe with a soft, dry cloth. Keep it away from water, perfume, and chemical cleaners, and let the metal rod stay dry to preserve its finish.
