This handmade Liuli Crystal Lotus Vessel is cast in frosted, translucent green glass that deepens from pale celadon at the rim to a richer jade tone at the foot. Each of the four styles — a water cup, an offering plate, a flared-mouth vase, and a lidded incense burner — is shaped around open lotus petals, with a sculpted lotus stem or seed pod rising from the body. The set is made for an altar table, home shelf, or office display, and the pieces sit together or separately.
Cultural Symbolism & Artistic Design
Lotus: Rising clean from muddy water to bloom, the lotus is traditionally regarded in Buddhist and South Asian traditions as a symbol of purity and quiet emergence. Here its form is the whole design: petals flare into the vase mouth and cup rim, and a carved seed pod on a bending stem decorates each body.
Altar vessel forms: Water cups, offering plates, vases, and incense burners are longstanding implements on Chinese Buddhist altars, traditionally used to hold water, fruit, flowers, and burning incense as offerings. These pieces follow those classic shapes in cast glass rather than porcelain or metal.

Why You'll Love This Vessel Set
- Four coordinated styles let you build a full altar display or pick a single piece for a shelf or desk.
- The frosted glass diffuses light through the petal edges, so the green tone glows softly rather than looking flat.
- Each piece has real heft — from 600g for the cup to 3000g for the incense burner — so it sits steadily on a smooth surface.
Care Instructions
- Dust with a soft, dry cloth; avoid water soaking, perfume, and harsh cleaners on the frosted surface.
- For the incense burner, use standard incense and empty cooled ash gently; do not fill it with liquids.
- Store out of direct sunlight and away from edges where a knock could chip a petal rim.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between the four vessel options?
They are four distinct shapes sold as options of the same lotus design: a small lidded water cup (7.5*8cm), a wide open offering plate (16.5*14.5*7cm), a tall flared-mouth vase (9*21.5cm, inner neck 3.5cm), and a larger lidded incense burner (14*14cm, inner diameter 8.8cm). Choose by what you want to display or offer.
Can the vase hold real flowers?
Yes. The vase has a usable 3.5cm inner neck, which suits a few stems or single blooms. Rinse and dry it after use, since it is a glass display piece rather than a sealed ceramic vessel.
Is the green color exactly like the photos?
Expect close but not identical color. Each piece is handmade in natural glass, so the gradient of the green tone and small internal irregularities vary from piece to piece, and lighting changes how the frosted surface reads.
Which piece works best as a gift?
The offering plate and vase are the most decorative as stand-alone gifts for a housewarming or a new altar corner; the water cup and incense burner make more sense when the recipient already keeps traditional altar vessels and wants matching pieces.
