This Meditation Frog Ceramic Incense Burner is a reclining frog figure molded in clay and finished with a matte, deep brown surface. In the pose shown, the frog leans back on its hands with its legs stretched out in front, head tilted up, and a slim incense resting in its open mouth so the smoke drifts upward. It works as a working incense holder or as a quiet decorative piece on a tea table, desk, or shelf.
Poses & Incense Use
Two pose options are listed: a praying frog and a sleeping frog, each a reclining figure with carved detail in the hands, feet, and eyes. The figure doubles as the incense holder, with the incense supported at the mouth so the smoke rises clear of the body. The package includes the ceramic burner only; incense is not included.

Why You'll Love This Incense Burner
The lounging frog pose is instantly readable and gives the piece its sense of humor, so it works as decor even when no incense is lit. At 300g of ceramic it sits steadily on a flat surface, and the matte hand-finished clay suits tea corners, reading nooks, and plant shelves. It is an easy gift for anyone who collects incense tools or whimsical tea-table figures.
Care Instructions
- Let ashes cool fully, then empty the holder; rinse only when the piece is completely dry afterward.
- Wipe the matte ceramic with a soft dry or barely damp cloth; avoid soaking, detergents, and harsh chemicals.
- Use on a flat, stable, heat-safe surface and never leave a burning incense unattended.
- Store in a dry place when not in use.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is incense included with the burner?
No. The package is listed as 1*Incense Burner (Without Incense), so you will need to add your own incense to start using it.
What is the difference between the praying and sleeping options?
Both are reclining frogs in the same matte ceramic finish, but the pose differs and so do the measurements: the two options are 21*6*9cm and 22*7.3*5cm. The 9cm-tall option sits more upright while the 5cm-tall one lies flatter, so choose based on how much vertical space your shelf or tea table has.
What type of incense does the frog hold?
The listing describes the figure as holding an incense cone, and in the product photo a slim stick incense rests in the upturned mouth. Either way the incense is positioned at the mouth so smoke rises upward; use a size that sits securely and do not force the opening.
Will the color match the photo exactly?
Close but not identical. Each burner is handmade, and the listing notes that irregularities and slight color variation can occur depending on lighting and screen. The matte deep brown finish and the reclining pose are consistent across pieces.
Note: Handmade ceramic pieces may show small irregularities; colors can vary slightly with lighting and screen settings.
