This set includes ten rectangular polyester panels in a ten-colour sequence, printed with a windhorse motif and script panels along one rope. Each flag measures 42 x 27 cm, and the full run is about 16.4 ft (5 m) long, so it spans a garden line, a porch beam, or a balcony rail.
Panels & Sequence
Ten printed panels hang from a single rope, each one printed on both faces with the windhorse figure and text panels. The panels follow a ten-colour sequence, so the set reads as a band of colour when it is hung rather than as repeated single-colour squares.
Design Context: The Windhorse
The windhorse, or lungta, is a central motif on many Tibetan flag sets, usually shown carrying a jewel. In Tibetan tradition, flag sets are hung outdoors so wind moves through the printed panels. This set uses printed polyester panels rather than woven or embroidered fabric.
Hanging & Display
The set arrives strung on its rope, so it can be tied off at both ends without extra assembly. It is made for outdoor display on a garden line, a fence, a porch, or a balcony. Long sun exposure may soften the printed colour, so take the set down during severe weather and when not in use.
Care
Hang the set so the panels can move freely in the wind and are not rubbing against a wall or branch. Take it down before severe weather. If the fabric needs cleaning, hand wash it gently in cold water and let it air dry flat rather than machine washing it, which can fray the panel edges.
