This ceramic backflow incense burner is shaped as a saguaro cactus with two ribbed arms and a glossy turquoise glaze edged in warm brown. A backflow cone sits in the flower-shaped cup at its crown, and the open front face carries a set of staggered leaf-like trays that catch the sinking smoke and pour it downward in thin streams before it slips out at the base. The footed lower section is finished in a darker ribbed glaze, so the Cactus Ceramic Backflow Incense Burner reads as a small desert sculpture on a desk, shelf or altar table even when it is not lit. Blue, green and yellow versions are listed.

Why You'll Love This Cactus Backflow Incense Burner
The tiered leaf trays inside the cactus make the falling smoke visible from the front, so the cascade becomes part of the sculpture rather than hidden behind it. At 17 cm tall and about 600 g, it has the presence of a decor piece yet fits a nightstand or a narrow shelf, and the glazed surface wipes clean easily. It is an easy gift for lovers of desert, Southwestern or plant-themed home decor.
Care Instructions
Use only backflow incense cones, and set the burner on a stable, heat-safe surface away from drafts. Let it cool after each use, then empty the ash from the base and wipe the glaze and inner trays with a soft, dry cloth or a cotton swab to clear resin buildup. Keep it away from prolonged moisture and avoid water, perfume or harsh cleaners on the glaze, and store it dry when not in use.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does it come with incense cones?
No. The package lists the burner only, without incense. Any standard backflow incense cone placed in the crown cup will work; regular stick or cone incense will not produce the downward cascade.
Why is my smoke rising instead of flowing down?
Backflow smoke only cascades in still air while the cone burns low. Keep the cactus away from fans, open windows and air currents, and make sure the small channel under the crown cup is clear of ash and resin; once the cone settles, the smoke starts pouring over the leaf trays again.
How big is it, and where does it fit?
It measures 12.5*6.5*17 cm (length*width*height), so it is taller than it is wide. A desk, shelf, dresser top or altar table with about 15 cm of clear width is enough, and at 600 g it sits firmly without a backing plate.
Which color should I expect to arrive?
Choose from the blue, green and yellow versions listed as variations; the main photo shows the turquoise-blue glaze. Because each piece is glazed and fired by hand, the brown edging and color depth can vary slightly from the picture.
Can it be used as a decoration without burning incense?
Yes. The cactus form with its ribbed arms, tiered inner trays and footed base works as a standalone ceramic ornament, so it can sit on a plant shelf year-round and be used as a burner whenever you like.
